Art Sanctuary for Kids invites children to embark on a journey of creativity and exploration, set in the inspiring environment of NAMO Sanctuary. This program is designed to nurture artistic growth through hands-on, playful learning experiences that enhance cognitive, motor, and emotional skills.

These workshops are a celebration of self-expression and personal development, encouraging children to build confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Through diverse visual techniques, participants develop a deeper connection with the world around them, fostering an appreciation for creativity, nature, and sustainability.

Central to our mission is the belief that art serves as a powerful tool for connecting with and appreciating our environment. By using recycled materials and eco-friendly practices, we teach the important role art plays in sustainability. Each session also delves into the works of key artists, enriching children's understanding of art history, styles, and techniques.

Join us to inspire creativity, promote learning, and instill a sense of responsibility toward our planet's future.

COMING THIS JANUARY: CERAMICS & TEA

From Clay to Tea or Ceramics and Tea ceremony, participants will enjoy two sessions where they will learn the basics of working with clay, an organic material that comes directly from the earth. In the first session, we will explore how to shape clay, basic modeling and glazing techniques, and create a container, cup, or bowl as a symbol of the history of ceramics.

The workshop will cover hand modeling, wheel pottery, decoration, and firing. We will also learn about the history of ceramics, with pieces found in China and Japan that date back over 20,000 years.

Join us to discover the art of ceramics and connect with the earth in a fun and educational way!

Guadalupe Reyna is a visual artist, who lives in Miami since 2016. She developed her creative career through different art projects for the community in Argentina, with special interest in childhood.

When she was 7 years old, she attended an experimental art workshop that gave her the first tools and forged her expressive and creative freedom. Since then, she has never stopped exploring many different artistic languages that became her channel of expression.

Guadalupe is in love with nature, so in every activity she undertakes, she ensures to be very respectful and protective of our environment. With these same values, she has created the ReynArt artistic movement, where art and creativity are promoted as a fundamental tool for physical and emotional development from childhood to adulthood. Reynart has vast experience in teaching art to children and teenagers.  …

Currently, Guadalupe continues with her artistic production with different materials and through different explorations. Pottery was and continues to be one of her main passions, but Painting, as a technique, found a special place in her latest works. It is through her works that many paths emerge and allow her to know herself and inspire others.

She focuses on exploration of self-awareness in playful atmosphere that brings on entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative work.
